A network is made up of nodes and connections between them. We call the nodes "elements" and these elements can belong to different element types. This Getting Started view is based on 2 element types: "explainers" and "concepts", which are shown in the model below:


Adding data to an element type creates elements of that type. You can see how the element types of your model are holding individual elements by clicking on the "Settings" button in the Model Builder and sizing the model by count:


You can see that this Getting Started view is based on 4 explainers that involve 24 concepts. When you create a view, you configure how to visually represent the elements help within the element types. So the Getting Started model above might be very simple, but the Getting Started view can be complex as the number of elements within those types grows:
